SWEET JOURNEY – THE TRIP OF YOUNG HEARTS

In October, in the chill of early winter, when the mountain winds begin to blow through the leaves, the Sweetness group is busy preparing for a special trip: a volunteer trip to the highlands.

Not a tourist trip, but a journey of kindness, where each small healthy cake becomes a bridge between hearts

The road is winding, covered in fog, but all fatigue disappears when seeing the innocent smiles and bright eyes of the highland children.
Oat cakes, honey, nutritious seeds – simple but heartwarming – become a bridge of love.

“If each cake can bring a little joy,
then this journey is truly sweet.”

Sweetness believes that giving doesn’t require anything big, just a heart that knows how to share — and the journey will continue.

SEND LOVE IN HEALTHY CAKES

At the weekend, the small kitchen of the Sweetness group was filled with laughter.
Everyone mixed the dough, baked the cakes, and packaged each box of healthy cakes made from oats, bananas, and honey — to give to children in the highlands.

Each cake is a small gift carrying warmth and love, hoping to bring the children sweet joy in the mountains and forest

From there, sweetbite chose the path of connecting business with the community. 50% of the store’s profits were used to support children in the Highlands, and a zero-dong sales booth was also opened – where the items no longer had a price tag, but became bridges of love.

“Giving love” is the spirit that sweetbite pursues: turning the passion for baking into a journey of sowing hope. We believe that true happiness comes from giving.

Each cake is a story, each trip is a journey of love.

And this ‘sweet’ journey will continue – because there are still many hearts that need to be warmed.”

Sweetbite – Spreading Love Through the Sweet Taste of Kindness

Zero-Dollar Fair

Sweetbite was created not just to sell cakes, but to connect hearts. Every cookie, muffin, or pastry is handmade with care, using healthy ingredients and low-sugar recipes. Yet, what truly makes Sweetbite stand out is how the team has woven kindness and community service into their entrepreneurial journey — through a “Zero-Dollar Fair” and a series of charity events distributing free cakes and meals across Hanoi.

the zero-where kindess

The Zero Fair – Where Kindness Is Free Instead of crowded booths and loud sales calls, Sweetbite’s Zero-Dollar Fair offered something much more special — everything was free. From homemade healthy cakes to basic necessities and hot meals, each item was neatly displayed, waiting for those in need to come and take what they needed most.

The fair was organized in collaboration with Shinbi, a local volunteer group sharing the same spirit of giving. The atmosphere was humble yet heartwarming — the smiles, the thank-yous, and the meaningful conversations turned the simple event into a day full of compassion. “We wanted people going through tough times to feel they’re not alone,” shared a Sweetbite member. “Each cake and meal we give carries a message of hope and encouragement.” Delivering Sweetness to Cancer Patients

After the fair, Sweetbite continued its mission of love by delivering cakes to cancer patients at hospitals in Hanoi. Each healthy, preservative-free cake was carefully wrapped with a handwritten note — a few gentle words wishing the receiver peace and strength.

Many of the young volunteers were deeply touched. One student recalled how a patient, upon receiving her cake, smiled and said, “It’s been so long since I had something sweet. Thank you, dear.” Moments like that reminded the team why they started Sweetbite in the first place — not just to bake, but to heal. Entrepreneurship with a Heart

What makes Sweetbite truly special among other student-led projects is its commitment to social responsibility. Beyond learning how to price products or design a brand, the members are also learning empathy, leadership, and the joy of giving back. In the future, Sweetbite plans to expand its line of seasonal healthy pastries and continue community projects such as “Cakes for Kids” — distributing treats to children in remote areas — and “Kitchen of Love,” which provides free meals for the homeless.

Sweetbite believes that entrepreneurship isn’t only about creating profit — it’s about creating meaning. With their wholesome recipes and warm hearts, these young “student entrepreneurs” are proving that even the smallest acts can make the world a little sweeter.
